New focus on ADHD

Wereldwijd gebruiken miljoenen kinderen dagelijks medicijnen, omdat ze gediagnostiseerd zijn met ADHD of ADD. Is deze huidige behandelmethode de enige oplossing voor ADHD/ADD, of moeten we ook de alternatieven bekijken? In deze documentaire geven verschillende internationale wetenschappers en andere experts hun visie op een specifieke behandelmethode, neurofeedback genaamd.

Het is interessant om te zien dat we ook in staat zijn om de hersenen te trainen. Je kunt met neurofeedback letterlijk oefenen om beter geconcentreerd te zijn. Hoe dat werkt? Je krijgt verschillende sensoren op je hoofd geplakt. Die zijn verbonden met een computer die de signalen van je hersenactiviteit weergeeft op een beeldscherm. Zo krijg je inzicht in de hersenactiviteit waar je normaal gesproken niet op let. Je wordt je bewust van wat normaal gesproken onbewust is like new york id.

Een goed voorbeeld van neurofeedback-training wordt getoond in deze documentaire. Een patiënt wordt aangesloten op de apparatuur en ziet een vliegtuigje op het beeldscherm van de computer. Het vliegtuigje vliegt echter alleen als zijn concentratievermogen hoog genoeg is. Zo traint de cliënt om zich beter te concentreren.

    First of all I would like to say awesome blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you
    do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself
    and clear your head prior to writing. I’ve had a
    difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out.
    I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first
    10 to 15 minutes are lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any
    suggestions or hints? Appreciate it!
